As we all know Government changes the National Minimum Wage each year in April.
This year saw some larger than usual % increases with the National Living Wage (25+) rising by 6.2%. The Minimum Wage for 21 - 24 yrs rising by 6.5% and for Apprentices by 6.4%
Increases for 18 - 20 yrs and under 18's are 4.9 and 4.6% respectively.
The actual rates are shown in the table below.
Please note that if your staff are furloughed before 1st April due to Covid 19 you are not required to increase their wage until they return to work.
